Protecting the Gaviota Coast
Gaviota Preserves
Gaviota Preserves protects the Gaviota Coast — the last undeveloped stretch of coastline in Southern California — through acquisition-led conservation, permanently securing, restoring, and stewarding at-risk coastal, agricultural, and habitat lands before they are lost to development.
Our anchor project is Rancho Tajiguas, a 3,272-acre coastal property under long-term stewardship, where we are advancing regenerative agriculture, habitat protection, and public access.
More to come — this site is launching soon.
Gaviota Preserves is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. EIN 42-2829509. Contributions are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
